Mulberry season is upon us, Sydney!

Good morning Sydney!! What a glorious way to greet the day with signs of the beginning of my favourite foraging season of the year. Mulberries can be found all over the place in urban environments, just get out for a walk and have a look around your local area or find locations on the Wild Food Map app, available on both iTunes and the Play Store.

We have a prolific mulberry tree at school which the kids almost claw each other to death over every spring, bless 'em. Once they ripen, it's also a race to get to the sweet, juicy, dark purple berries before the birds do!

I personally love to eat them as is, unadulterated except with some lovely, organic Ivyhome 'mud cream' - no need for whipping, this gorgeous cream is so thick it's like scooping hard peanut butter.
